Reverend Shepperson was born and raised in the Washington, DC metro area. He received his education in the Maryland public school system. After receiving his High School Diploma, he furthered his education by attending the Jericho Christian Academy. He has also received certificates for his studies in Resolving Conflicts, Effective Communication and Presentation Skills. He completed 3 courses in Calvary Bible Institute, under the leadership of his covering; Archbishop Alfred Owens, Jr. of the Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church in Washington, DC.

Reverend Shepperson accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of twelve. He accepted his call to preach the gospel in 1988. Under the leadership of his Pastor, A. Michael Charles Durant, he preached his initial sermon in December 1990. He served as the Youth Minister for ten years at Tenth Street Baptist Church located in Washington, DC. From February 2004 until his departure in 2006, he served as the Minister to Evangelism, all under the leadership of Pastor Durant. On March 24, 2007, Pastor Durant ordained Reverend Shepperson at Tenth Street Baptist Church.

Reverend Shepperson is the founder of Shepperson Network Link, also known as SNL. This is a consulting business whose primary focus is to help develop and nourish ministries around the world. He and his wife traveled to Pensacola, Florida on a monthly basis during the years 2004 and 2005 where SNL (formally known as MNL, Ministry Network Link) was fully activated. Together they worked as Youth Leaders and Advisors, developed the Evangelism Ministry, and worked on developing a Women’s Ministry for the Emmaus Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor James O. Gaston.
